Beholding Your Site Search

 

If you are familiar with Adsense for Search, I believe you should know there are two kinds of search boxes. One of them is Sitesearch which provides an opportunity for visitors to search either though World Wide Web (www) or your site. You should also know that, by default, the radio button has been selected for websearch. How can we change the radio button to our SiteSearch by default? There is a little trick out there.

It's a little-known fact, but we're happy to tell you that it is possible to select this option within your account. First, visit the AdSense Setup tab after logging into your Adsense account. Then, select "AdSense for search" as your product. On the code generation page, you should see a sample search box under "Search box style" that changes as you customize the layout:

If you'd like your search box to default to SiteSearch, simply click the radio button for SiteSearch within the sample. Once you have finished customizing your search box, copy and paste the provided code onto your pages – and voila, you will see that SiteSearch is selected as the default for your search box, which is illustrated as below:

Great info, but most of us dont bother doing TRY an ERROR. That's why we have a lot of tutorials. Nice Info. Other than using adsense search you may also use CSE. More widget on it for search.
