Reporting Invalid/ Sabotage Clicks to Google Adsense

From the Adsense Help Group, I often see that there are some queries about how to deal with the invalid clicks, or even those clicks that are sabotage! It is stated very clearly in the Adsense program policies that it is prohibited to click your own Adsense ads in any occasion. Google treats invalid clicks very seriously and will easily terminate your Adsense account because of this. On the other hand, I know that there must be some occasions that a webmaster will accidentally click on his/her ads. How should you deal with that? Will it cause you to the account termination too? No worry. The very first thing that you need to do is to fill in the form Google provides and give it back to them.

The URL link is below:

https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/request.py?
contact=invalid_clicks_contact

In this form, try to provide as many information as you can. Also, be honest! Google Adsense Team always appreciates honesty. After you complete and send out the form to Google, they will then send you an email saying that they will investigate the case. Normally, within 24 hours, they will tell you the result. Hope everything goes fine with your account!!!

One more thing, even though there is a report form, it is your responsibility that you should avoid to click on your ads in every occasion. Repeated invalid clicks will definitely get your site be flagged by Google and may risk the closure of your account. Good luck.

I unfortunately was a victim of invalid clicks. It happened over the week of Christmas. I didn't realize it happened because I hadn't been checking my account during this time that often. When I finally saw the hugh spike I was concerned about how it, but didn't know what to do. A few days later I received an email from the google Adsense team saying that my account was disabled for invalid click activity. I immediately sent an appeal and they just responded today that their decision stands. I think it's crazy because my was averageing about $.75 a day in adsense clicks with $3 dollar day now and then. I get one day of $18 and they shut me down. I hadn't even accumulated enough yet to receive my first adsense check.

Don Smith,

I fully understand how frustrated you are. That's why up till now, I would not totally depends on Adsense for my sole income. It is always for Google Adsnese under criticism that there is not enough accountability.

If you can report those accidental clicks every time, you will have much less chance of being banned.

Thanks for your comment too.

Hi Samuel,

Thanks for your comment and question. I am really sorry about the termination of your Adsense account.

Back to the question, if you want to reapply for another Adsense account (I have a post specifically discuss on that), you need to use a different name, different payment address, and especially differnet IP to regiester and login your new Adsense account. From your description, it is fine to use the same domain registar information and computer, but for the payment address, you have to be differnt from the previous one in order to avoid Google's suspicion.

Hope these helps, and if you find this site is useful, please provide a back link to my site.

I have read previously in other forums/groups that Google sometimes revert their decision of closing an account of a publisher accused of invalid clicks. The publisher provided history stats of their site and the actions that they are doing in preventing invalid clicks.

But I think if newbie publisher will concentrate on monitoring invalid clicks, it will "eat" a lot of time from learning to install the tracking script, analyzing traffic data and banning ip's.

I just hope that google will give adsense publisher a tool that can be used to track invalid clicks in order not to resort in closing our account.

Hi James,

Yes, you are right. It would be a lot better if Google can provide some sort of tracking tools to us. I could say, even if you monitor the stats c;osely, there are still chances that Google will terminate your account because of invalid clicks. How poor~

Thank you for supporting my blog, and hope you can provide a back link to my site.

I'm from vietnam
my Adsense account was disabled that my ISP always switch new ip for me when i log on internet.so if my old ip that i used for my adsense account maybe somebody use.
Now i added scripts into my site to prevent anybody click or browsing my site because i still use dynamic ip that my ISP provided ,scripts very good, but i only can to use other actived-adsense code as my adsense account(sorry i can't provided this scripts because it have relatived to other ads on my site)
is payee name on Personal card to i receive cash from my bankers after i send checks to them ?if it's right, maybe i shutdown all services that relatived Google, Google-self lost trust from publishers
Finally, advertisers maybe want to this present frequently to them aren't pay ad fees.i knew some advertisers "cheat" google and they very made it frequently

Hi

I am from india and it was disappointment from google to disable my google adsense account.

I had a blog where the adsense ads were displayed and i never ever click on those ads but still this google people have disabled my account.

I immediately filled up the form of appeal and informed them about this trouble.

But still they stand at their statement saying we cannot re-instate you account.

This is really bullish thing going on when a publisher like my who do not have time to click on ads and i hardly find some time to place the contents on my blog and i was just reaching $10 and this people disabled my adsense account.

Anyone will be frustrated if you are about to reach first step of income of $10 and your account is disabled.

I think this is purposely done inorder to stop people to earn from google.

JUST THINK THAT IF ALL THE GOOGLE ADSENSE USER START SEARCHING SOME OTHER ADVERTISER WHAT WILL HAPPEN ABOUT GOOGLE.

Hi Sachin,

I absolutely realize what you are feeling right now. I have encountered the same problem too. That's why I decide to try anohter PPC ad network. The one that I found to be satisfiying is Bidvertiser. You must have a look at it.

Hi,

I hope this isn’t taken as “spam”, but I wanted to let your readers know about a product I offer called AdSenseClickLock at http://www.AdsenseClickLock.com that helps to minimize the possiblity of your Adsense account being banned from click fraud (intentional or otherwise).

AdsenseClickLock can limit how many times your adsense ads are shown, or even limit page views using cookies as well as IP tracking.

While no solution can safeguard your account 100%, using AdsenseClickLock will help to deter many types of click fraud. Again, even if it’s your Mom, spouse or friend trying to “help” you make money.

I appreciate this opportunity to share this product with your readers and enjoy your blog.

Thanks,

Don

Hi,

When did you cross the $10 threshold? It takes some time for Google to verify the information before sending you the PIN.

For the traffic problem, please refer to my relevant posts.
