What is invalid click?

There are some misconceptions on the term invalid click in Google Adsense. You should be familiar with this term yet it may be cost you an Adsense account, and all the money you have earned inside.

Invalid clicks does not mean those clicks on your site that has not yet uploaded on server. In fact, invalid clicks are those clicks generated by a person that does not have real interest on knowing what service is selling behind the ad.

A click may also be known as invalid if it is generated through prohibited methods. These prohibited methods include but are not limited to: repeated manual clicks, or the use of robots, automated clicking tools, or other deceptive software.

Please be reminded that clicking on your own ads for any reason is prohibited, to avoid potential inflation of advertiser costs. All clicks must be generated as the result of a user clicking on the ads. In Adsense program policies, Google requires that webpages do not include incentives of any kind for users to click on ads. This includes encouraging users to click on the ads or to visit the advertisers' sites as well as labeling the ads with text other than "sponsored links" or "advertisements."

Hi Kushi,

Thanks for your suggestion. That is also one of the possible way to look into the ad you want, without left clicking the ads.

They just close your account point final NO explaination? WOW WOW now... There has to be a way to find out what ip was used for boycotting an account? what if it's proof of the competitor? Well i guess Google won't get involved... Any suggestions?

Hi Denis,

If that person clicked so many times in your site, you need not to worry. Google have its tracaking system to determine the clicks are valid or not. At the same time, you also need to report to Google any suspicious click pattern.

Please put a backlink to my site to help more Adsense newbies.
